YellowBrix Restaurant

Carlsbad, New Mexico's Yellow Brix Restaurant Dan and Barbara Rempel, our owners, have sent us a note. "Greetings from YellowBrix!" We launched as a unique coffeehouse in June of 2011, but by the end of our first year, we wanted to provide more to the Carlsbad community, so we transformed into the full-service restaurant we are today. Mr. Albert Hendricks, a clothier who ran a retail store on Canyon Street, completed our aesthetically magnificent and historic yellow-brick house in 1928. We began the big makeover to a commercial restaurant decades later. Throughout the eight-month renovation process, the primary goal was to maintain the magnificent home's historic character. YellowBrix Restaurant wants to be the epicurean restaurant of choice in Carlsbad, New Mexico, after completing preservation and remodeling.
