Rex Italian Foods

Rex has been synonymous with high quality Italian cuisine for decades in the Chicagoland region. Contrary to common belief, there is no "Rex". It is a Latin word that simply means "king". Rex has been the king of Italian delicatessen since the opening of two Italian brothers, called Shinkino, to the west of Chicago in the late 1960s. They later moved their business to the Harlem & Foster area north of Chicago, where they continued to do business for years. The name appeared in 1993 at its current location, 4431N Harlem Avenue. We will return to the place where we have kept the tradition of Rex. At Rex, we cook our own Italian beef and manually pack our own sausages. We also have premium Italian lunches and specialties, as well as our own homemade pasta. We also offer a wide range of ready-to-use ready-to-eat dishes such as lasagna, chicken dishes, salads and desserts for those on the go. Finally, we will do it too!
