PS Gourmet Coffee

PS Gourmet Coffee was founded by James E. Fallon in 1986. Because of its location in Perkins Square, South Boston, the store was originally known as "Perkins Square Deli." Perkins Square was named after Michael "Mickey" J. Perkins, a WWI war hero. Originally, the store was a coffee shop, convenience store, and deli. PS made the decision to concentrate on coffee in 2004. We designed a new look for PS, created a new product, and modernized our name to reflect our formulated product with this new plan in place. PS Gourmet Coffee came into being. We discovered a new coffee blend through experimentation, customer feedback, and the strategic and creative minds of our family and staff. This new recipe combines flavored coffee and mocha to create a candy bar flavor. This transformation has given coffee drinkers a new experience and earned PS a new customer base. We were able to open a second PS location in Dorchester in 2012, thanks to the success of PS South Boston and high demand. We intend to open additional locations as our business grows and our customer base expands, and we are excited to see what the future holds. You never know when a PS store will open near you.
