Lucky Dog

Bob Houpy founded the first Lucky Dog in Melrose Park, Illinois, in 1984. Soon after, he established outlets in Cicero (1986) and Berwyn (1994). Lucky Dog has always been a family business; now, Bob, his brother Joe, and his cousin John manage the three sites with a dedication to customer service. At Lucky Dog, we attempt to do things a bit differently when it comes to fast food. We give a handcrafted touch to our meals in addition to delivering ample amounts at competitive costs. All four Lucky Dogs now offer handmade Italian Beef, Italian Ice, daily soups, chili, and gyro and red sauces. We regularly enhance the menu with new item ideas, most notably toasted subs, in addition to adding handmade features. Today, 33 years after the first restaurant opened, we at Lucky Dog remain committed to providing our clients with high-quality cuisine in huge amounts at reasonable pricing. Join us in making history!
