Delightful Pastries

Delightful Pastries is a family-owned and run bakery that has been offering our loyal Chicago customers excellent home-style European pastries, cakes, and baked goods for over 20 years. Dobra Bielinski and Stasia Hawryszczuk founded Delightful Pastries in Jefferson Park on Lawrence in 1998 with the purpose of creating authentic European pastries with as many local ingredients as possible.

Soups

  • Beef Mushroom Barley Soup

    • Default - $12.00
    1 quart home made soup made from scratch. This soup is made out of beef shanks, barley, mushrooms and veggies, finished off with fresh herbs. This soup is frozen as we as we do not know when our customers will be eating it.

  • Cream of Butternut Squash

    • Default - $12.00
    This creamy vegetarian soup is made with organic butternut squash from scratch. This soup is scratch made with local vegetables and we freeze it to give our customers the option of eating it at their leisure.

  • Split Pea Smoked Ham Hock

    • Default - $12.00
    32 oz home made soup from scratch. We use smoked ham hocks to make a delicious broth then we add the split peas and veggies. This soup has no dairy or gluten. This soup is frozen as we do not know when our customers will be eating it.

Breads

  • Holiday Bread

    • Default - $13.50
    Fabulous bread for cheese platters and for eating on its own. It has rye and wheat sourdough, dried cherries, dried cranberries, raisins, walnuts and pecans. Ideal for travel.

  • Gluten Free

    • Default - $11.50
    Delicious vegan bread that is flourless, made out of seeds, grains and almonds. Sugar free as well.

  • Seeded Sourdough

    • Default - $7.50
    Fabulous bread that is vegan, no sugar, no fat and no yeast added to this bread. Sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and flax seeds give this bread a lot of flavor and nutrition.

  • Seven Grain Levain

    • Default - $6.50

  • Country Rye sourdough
