Beatnic takes vegan cuisine to new heights, with a bold, flavor-forward, made-fresh-to-order menu that highlights and celebrates veggies in all their glory. Salads are big and brash, each made to cater to tastes you crave, like the Quinoa Taco — a bowl of crisp romaine with quinoa, spicy chorizo, black beans, sweet corn, avocado, tomato, tortilla strips and tofu crema, tossed in a gorgeous agave-lime vinaigrette. Beatnic prides itself on having a welcoming, inclusive vibe with options that everyone will love. Burgers are crafted from lentils and pea protein and come piled high with all manner of brilliant combinations. Guacamole — made fresh in house every day — joins corn salsa, tortilla chips, and chipotle aioli to top the Guac Burger, while shiitake mushroom bacon, vegan cheddar, and special sauce make The BCB, a terrific vegan version of a classic. There’s also an unbelievable take on a spicy fried chicken sandwich made with crispy tempeh Chicky doused in hot sauce, topped with purple slaw and pickles, and served on a potato bun. Oh, and yes, there are (air-baked!) fries, regular or sweet potato. Get both.
