More about Culichitown Mexican Restaurant

Apart from our families and the people we grew up with in our home towns, there is something else that we miss when we decide to migrate to the United States, and that is the taste of our traditional food, drinks, and music, because these things make Mexico, and specifically the State of Sinaloa, a unique place. Culichitown is a restaurant dedicated to the traditional cuisine of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico; a city known for its diverse gastronomy, with seafood as the primary ingredient in the preparation of the state's products. Our restaurant arrived in the United States as a result of the idea of a "culichi." Misael Guerrero, the founder of Culichitown, wanted to ensure that the taste of the cuisine consumed in his hometown was the same as that of other Sinaloans living in this nation. The Cousine Family Business History In 2010, Misael Guerrero decided to start selling sushi and seafood out of his garage in Fontana, CA, and so the concept of Culichitown was created. We now have 14 restaurants in Southern California and other states after nine years. A Snack of Shrimp At CULICHITOWN, we trained our staff to produce foods that taste just like those served in Culiacán. We also use traditional Sinaloa ingredients to ensure a 100 percent "culichi" flavor. We are resolved to produce foods and drinks in the same manner as they are in Culiacán, in order for the thousands of Sinaloenses who live in this country to feel connected to their cuisine, people, and customs.
