More about Hecho En Oak Park

Chef Saul Garcia opened Hecho en Oak Park in October of 2017. Hecho en Mexico is an export emblem for Mexican-made goods that informs the consumer of the country of origin. The restaurant's name "Hecho en Oak Park" was formed because Saul wanted to use the same concept to assist his customers to understand where his fresh and delectable items come from. Hecho is a traditional Taqueria where corn tortillas are prepared from scratch every day, cucumbers, strawberries, and pineapples are cut, and limes are squeezed to make excellent margaritas. Hecho opened its doors in 2017 to serve some of the best Mexican antojitos, inspired by the cuisine and culture of Mexico (lit. little cravings). Some of the most typical Mexican dishes can be found on our menu. Planting seeds in the world is our specialty; it is a one-of-a-kind method and approach for everyone to begin earning instead of losing. We want to change the way we think about food and people, but we need some help and encouragement from within. A ray of sunshine will undoubtedly pierce through the gloomy clouds that our forefathers had constructed; we will find a space of harmony for everyone, but the rest is up to them to discover. Mind and awareness are being reprogrammed.
